Ridgeway win Digital Initiative of the Year Award

We are delighted  to announce that Ridgeway won  ‘Digital Initiative of the Year’ at the Motortrader Awards that took place at Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Wednesday 9th July 2014.

The Digital Initiative Award recognises and rewards the best use of digital media by franchised and non-franchised dealers.

The judges looked for best practice examples of how digital platforms, including social media, mobile apps, online video and live chat, have been used as part of a dealer’s digital marketing mix to help drive sales. Ridgeway’s digital initiative focussed on “Workshop Window by Ridgeway” – our new online video safety check programme.

Workshop Window is a new transparent process which aims to give you peace of mind that your vehicle is being cared for in the right hands with great value for money. Through the Workshop Window our fully trained Technicians will perform a routine safety check on your vehicle and email a video of the check to your email address showing you exactly what work is required, if any. It’s as simple as that!

This innovation is now available across all Ridgeway sites in Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, SKODA, Jaguar, Maserati, Land Rover, MINI and BMW.

In addition to this accolade, Ridgeway were also proud to be nominated for 4 other awards at the event including Dealer Website of the Year, Employer of the Year, Customer Care (Ridgeway Audi Newbury) and Used Car Retailer of the Year (Ridgeway Volkswagen Newbury).
