Ridgeway shine at 2014 Thames Valley Business Awards

Top 20 Motor Retail Group, Ridgeway, are topping off the end of a hugely successful 2014 with another raft of accolades – this time at the 2014 Thames Valley Business Awards which were held on 20th November at the Madejski Conference Centre in Reading. Now in its 20th anniversary year these are the longest-running business awards scheme in the region.

Ridgeway, who operate the Audi, Volkswagen, Land Rover, Jaguar, Maserati and SKODA car franchises across the Thames Valley region, were shortlisted in three ‘finalist’ categories, which covers the M4, M40 and M3 corridors and highlights the best of business in the area.

Against some very strong and credible opposition, Ridgeway won the category for the ‘The Best Use of Technology’ for “Workshop Window by Ridgeway” for illustrating an innovative approach to the application of technology and a demonstrable improvement in the customer service experience as a result of technology. Earlier in the year the Workshop Window online video safety check service won ‘Digital Initiative of the Year’ at the Motor Trader Awards.

In the two other categories Ridgeway gained runner-up awards in the ‘Thames Valley Dynamic Business of the Year’ and ‘Best Company to work’.

Ridgeway’s Chief Executive, John O’Hanlon commented “We are delighted to be recognised once again and fly the flag for the Thames Valley, one of the UK’s leading economic engine rooms and Europe’s Tech Valley. Our three accolades reflect the passion, hard work and commitment of all of our colleagues and look forward to a successful 2015.”
