The Ridgeway Group makes a massive surge forward in their Sunday Times Top Track 250 league table ranking

One of the UK’s largest Motor Retail Group, the Ridgeway Group has moved up a massive 55 places on the latest Sunday Times Top Track 250 league table of Britain’s leading mid-market private companies.  

Ranking as 36th the Ridgeway Group are proud to be listed next to fabulous brands as Virgin Active, Selfridges, Nandos, Lush, BetFred, Pret A Manger, The Range, Vue, Warburtons to name a few.

The Sunday Times Top Track 250 league table ranks Britain’s leading mid-market private companies with the biggest sales.

A typical Top Track 250 company:
• has sales ranging between £130m and £650m
• has between 100 and 5,000 staff
• is owned and run by established families and entrepreneurs, and around 30% by private equity firms

Founded 16 years ago with just one Audi and two Volkswagen outlets, Ridgeway has continued its prolific growth in southern England under chairman David Newman, 52, and chief executive John O’Hanlon, 43. Ridgeway added its first Land Rover and Jaguar franchises in the summer and now has marques that also include BMW, MINI, Skoda and Mercedes-Benz.
